Cookie Policy
Effective 1 September 2026
This policy covers glasnik.bg, the website where our legal documents, support pages and account-deletion page live. The Glasnik mobile app is covered separately by the Privacy Policy — apps do not use cookies, and what they store instead is described in section 4 below.

1. The short version
We use the smallest number of cookies the site can function with. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share what we collect with data brokers.
If we ever add anything beyond strictly necessary cookies, you will be asked first, and you will be able to say no without losing access to anything.
2. What a cookie is
A small file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later visit. The same rules here cover comparable technologies — local storage, session storage and similar — because what matters is that data is kept on your device, not the mechanism.
3. What we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, and under Bulgarian and EU law they do not require consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Everything else
None at present. We do not currently run analytics, advertising, social media pixels, or third-party embeds on glasnik.bg.
This is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. A site that exists to explain how an anonymity-focused product handles your data is a poor place to install third-party tracking, and the traffic numbers are not worth the trade.
If that changes — most likely privacy-respecting analytics to understand which help pages people actually read — this policy will be updated first, a consent banner will appear, and nothing will be set until you accept. Declining will not restrict anything.
4. The mobile app
The app does not use cookies. It stores a small amount of data on your device so you do not have to sign in every time you open it:
- your our authentication provider authentication token, held by the operating system's secure storage
- your display preferences — theme, font size, and similar
- a local cache of content already shown to you, so the app works briefly without a connection
None of this is shared with third parties, and all of it is removed when you delete the app or your account. What the server holds is a separate question, answered in the Privacy Policy.
5. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings — every major browser offers this under privacy or security options. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean the site asks for your cookie choice on every visit, since remembering the answer is itself a cookie.
There is no cross-site tracking here to opt out of.
6. Changes
If we add any cookie beyond the strictly necessary ones listed above, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting it. Material changes will carry a new effective date.
